Material Handler – Warehouse
Location: San Diego CA 92121
Shift:1st shift 6am – 2:30pm
Pay Range:$19- $20/hr
Job Summary:
Under direct supervision this position is responsible for performing daily distribution tasks including loading unloading moving and transacting materials to support in-plant logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and must adhere to cGMP and inventory management practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform shipping receiving storing issuing and delivering of materials equipment and supplies.

Conduct physical inventory counts and ensure accurate material transactions.

Transport materials between departments and production areas.

Operate sit-down stand-up and side-loader forklifts as well as pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.

Follow all GMP safety and standard operating procedures.

Support team efforts and assist in training other employees.
Qualifications:
-
1–2 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred.

Forklift certification a plus.
-
Ability to work in manufacturing/warehouse environments and follow safety protocols.
Environment:
Work performed in a manufacturing and warehouse setting that may involve handling chemicals biological materials and cold storage areas. Must be flexible with work hours to meet production needs.
