Warehouse Material Handler – 1st Shift (Temp 3–6 Months+)
Pay: $18–$19 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift
Type: Temporary (3–6 months with potential for extension)
We are seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to support daily distribution and in-plant logistics operations. This position is responsible for loading unloading transferring and transacting materials to ensure efficient material flow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented reliable and able to work in a fast-paced regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipping receiving storing issuing and delivering materials equipment and supplies

Conduct physical inventory counts and ensure accurate staging and storage of materials

Transport materials between departments facilities and production areas
-
Accurately and promptly transact inventory/material movements using inventory systems

Select materials for work orders and ensure correct issuance

Operate material handling equipment including sit-down stand-up and side-loader forklifts pallet jacks and other vehicles often in narrow aisles and cold storage

Follow cGMP guidelines and adhere to safety and standard operating procedures

Participate in cross-training and support the development of team members

Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a manufacturing warehouse and laboratory setting involving exposure to:

Hazardous chemicals and infectious materials
-
Cold storage environments
-
Required use of PPE and adherence to strict safety protocols
-
Flexible work hours as needed to meet project deadlines
Physical Demands:
-
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more regularly (at least 35% of the day)

Standing walking and climbing up to 50% of the workday
-
Must operate a forklift approximately 15% of the time

Specific vision abilities including close/distance vision and focus adjustment
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-
Minimum 6 months of related work experience
-
Previous warehouse or stockroom experience preferred
-
Experience operating warehouse equipment
-
Familiarity with GMP environments a plus
Skills & Knowledge:
-
Basic computer skills (Word Excel data entry)
-
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
-
Basic math skills and understanding of cycle count procedures

Knowledge of inventory control and materials handling

Commitment to safety and quality in accordance with FDA ISO and internal guidelines
