Production Area Specialist I 

• Location: Carlsbad CA
• Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Duration: 6 months
• Role Summary:
  The Associate Production Area Specialist I supports the manufacturing of high-quality golf clubs by ensuring components are accurately picked handled modified and prepared for assembly. This role requires precision attention to detail and adherence to quality standards to ensure all components meet specifications before entering the assembly line.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately retrieve and kit production orders.
• Validate component accuracy against production order BOMs.
• Safely transport components to various production stations.
• Modify and measure components to meet customer specifications.
• Collaborate with quality control to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Manage kanban for assigned process areas.
• Oversee inventory control and manage scrap in the process area.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
• Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues to Production Lead.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding discrepancies or challenges.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Material Handler in a production or warehouse manufacturing setting.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and documentation.
• Familiarity with product styles and ability to identify part numbers.
• Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities.
• Professional communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand walk bend and reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse with varying temperatures and noise levels.

Chemicals & PPE

• Chemicals: Alcohol
• PPE Required: Safety glasses hearing protection aprons (cloth & plastic) gloves (latex & non-latex)
• Daily handling of hazardous waste bins containing chemical wipes
