CNC Machinist IIII
Location: San Diego CA 92121
Shift: 1st shift 6am – 2:30pm Mon – Fri
Pay Rate:$23.75/hr

In this role you will:
Perform work in accordance with standard operating procedures and drawing specifications with minimal supervision
Conduct checks and tests to improve efficiency reduce costs and ensure product quality
Use precision measuring instruments including calipers depth gauges thread gauges pin gauges and other tools
Learn and assist with CNC machine set-ups
Identify and report minor machine issues
Perform operational checks to ensure tools fixtures and equipment are in proper working condition
Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs as required
Perform job duties that include standing walking bending crouching squatting kneeling reaching and climbing
What You Bring to the Role
Ability to read and write in English (High School diploma or equivalent required)
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating Vertical and/or Horizontal CNC milling machines
Basic knowledge of Mastercam and SolidWorks
Working knowledge of Haas and Fanuc CNC controls
Understanding of G & M codes
Ability to learn process requirements and troubleshoot unplanned production issues
Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with teams support training and resolve production issues
