Job Title: Human Resources Analyst I/II
Location: San Diego CA 92101 (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Duration: Temporary with the possibility to extend based on performance and business need.
Pay: $30.00 – 34.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
About the Role
The Human Resources Analyst I/II will support a wide variety of functions within the company’s Human Resources program including recruitment and staffing employee training and development and performance management. This position plays a key administrative role and works closely with analysts managers and other stakeholders to help ensure smooth execution of HR operations and initiatives.
You will be part of a progressive and customer-focused HR team that supports over 400 employees at all career stages from entry-level interns to senior executives—across various technical fields. The team is integral to the agency’s strategic goals which include workforce planning performance management and talent development.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately input and update employee data in the HRIS in a timely manner.

Maintain organized personnel files and employee records; file hard-copy documents and update electronic folders.

Create new hire and benefits folders; coordinate with Payroll as needed.

Enter salary data and apply updates in relevant HR systems.

Process employment changes (transfers separations extensions) and generate necessary documentation and communications.

Provide administrative assistance for full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition efforts; work within the agency’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires; communicate with IT and Facilities teams to support transitions for new and promoted employees.

Deliver responsive professional customer service; assist with general HR-related inquiries.

Ensure cleanliness and organization of HR storage and filing rooms.

Perform general administrative tasks including document processing invoice handling and support for special projects and process improvements.
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in human resources business/public administration or related field preferred. A combination of education and recent relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Minimum of 1 year of administrative support or secretarial experience preferably within a Human Resources or Payroll environment.

Proven ability to handle a high volume of data entry with accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong organizational and time-management skills; capable of managing multiple time-sensitive onboarding and recruitment activities.

Skilled in using Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel for administrative support and data tracking.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of professionally and courteously addressing employee needs.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality especially when handling sensitive data such as compensation demographics and personnel records.

Ability to work well under pressure respond promptly to inquiries and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Additional Requirements
