Customer Experience Assistant

Location: Oceanside CA

Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday – Friday
Pay: $23 – $24 per hour depending on experience
Duration: Temporary approximately 2 months

 

Job Summary:

As Customer service is the voice and face. The CSA must possess exemplary skills in communication and be able to assist all customers.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Provide exceptional service to customers via phone in-person and online as based upon situational needs.

  • Respond to inquiries from the public regarding transit services.

  • Providing trip planning assistance to customers.

  • processing and completing applications for Senior/Disabled/Medicare reduced fares

  • Processing date and maintaining the department’s databases

  • performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Highschool diploma or GED

  • Two years of front-line customer service experience in similar environment including retail or call center is required

  • General Requirements:

  • Must demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality

  • Demonstrate proficiency with computers and computer software programs in Windows

  • Makes decisions solves problems resolves conflicts exercises resourcefulness and prioritizes tasks to meet a variety of demands

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
