Job Title: Bilingual Campus Safety Patrol and Front Desk (English/Spanish)

Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and bilingual (Spanish and English) Campus Safety Officer to join our team for approximately 8 weeks starting soon. This role involves creating a visible and positive presence on campus interacting with students and families and ensuring a safe environment. You will be helping with basic security duties and light patrol.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a visible presence on campus.

• Walk around campus and be available to answer questions.

• Engage with students families and staff in a friendly and professional manner.

• Talk to children and teenagers a couple of times a day to maintain a presence.

• Monitor the door letting people in as needed and help the receptionist take breaks.

• Walk outside twice a day to ensure safety and visibility.

• If any issues arise contact the appropriate parties.

• Provide a positive and safe environment for students and families.

Requirements:

• Must be bilingual (Spanish and English) for interacting with students especially children and teenagers.

• Reliable and responsible with a strong work ethic.

• Ability to walk around campus and remain visible.

• Comfortable interacting with various groups including families and students.

• No hard security work but should remain aware of the environment.

• A customer-service-oriented mindset is essential.

• Previous experience with teenagers is a plus.

• A background in security is ideal but not required.

Parking:

Street parking is available.

Additional Information:

• A brief orientation will be provided.

• This role is more about creating a visible approachable presence on campus.
