Job Title: Senior Accountant (Temporary)
Location: Oceanside CA (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Duration: 2 to 3 months (estimated)
Pay Rate: $56.24 per hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to support our team on a temporary basis for approximately 2 to 3 months. This role is fully onsite in Oceanside and will play a key part in managing complex accounting functions and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and record accounting entries for complex transactions including debt revenue and expenses
- Manage fixed asset activities including setup tracking and disposal
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Complete balance sheet account reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation
- Handle and monitor cash transactions and related processes
- Support month-end close activities and ensure timely reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong experience with complex accounting entries
- Hands-on experience with fixed assets reconciliations and cash management
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
