Overview

The Associate Production Area Specialist I plays a key role in the manufacturing of high-quality golf clubs by ensuring that all components are accurately picked handled modified and prepared for assembly. This position requires attention to detail physical dexterity and the ability to follow precise specifications to ensure that every component meets quality standards before entering the assembly line.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Accurately retrieve and kit production orders.
• Validate accuracy of components picked against production order BOMs.
• Safely handle and transport components to various production stations.
• Alter and measure components specifications to meet customer requirements
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure all modifications meet safety and performance standards.
• Manages kanban for specified process area.
• Oversees process area inventory control and scrap.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the Production Lead.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any discrepancies or challenges encountered during production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent combined education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years+ of job-related experience as a Material Handler in Production and Warehouse manufacturing setting
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and documentation purposes.
• Familiarity with product styles and ability to identify part numbers.
• Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities.
• Effective and professional communication and organization skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand walk bend and reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
