Job Title: Mid Level Fabricator
Location: Santee
Schedule: 1st shift – 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday to Friday
Duration: Temp to Hire
Pay: $27/hour (DOE)
SUMMARY
The Mid Level Fabricator is responsible for assembling structural and miscellaneous steel components and supporting fabrication tasks in a production environment. The role supports structural and architectural fabrication projects requiring precision and experience in welding and layout.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Assemble and fabricate structural and miscellaneous steel components using tack welding and layout techniques
Support higher-level fabricators as needed
Read and interpret fabrication and erection drawings
Assist in assembling stairs rails frames and other structural elements
Maintain safety quality and productivity standards
Collaborate with senior fabricators and production leads
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
Complete tasks efficiently to meet project goals
Technical Skills:
Proficient in reading and interpreting fabrication and erection drawings
3+ years of experience in structural or miscellaneous steel fabrication
Skilled in tack welding layout and fabrication techniques
Competent with hand tools power tools and shop equipment
Basic understanding of material rigging
Strong focus on safety quality and detail
