Job Title: Mid-Level Welder
Location: Santee CA
Schedule: 1st Shift and 2nd shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM 2nd 2:30pm – 11:pm | Monday – Friday
Duration: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $22 – $24/hr DOE
SUMMARY
The Mid-Level Welder will perform a variety of welding tasks in support of the manufacturing of Calmark and Birtcher product lines. These products include retainers and conduction-cooled assemblies for aerospace and defense applications. The role requires attention to detail the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics and strong hands-on skills to ensure quality and precision in all welds.
Qualifications:
Proficient in MIG and TIG welding on various metals including aluminum and stainless steel.
Read and interpret blueprints work orders and welding specifications.
Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform quality checks on welds to ensure compliance with specifications.
Familiarity with CNC machine components and fabrication is a plus.
Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all safety protocols.
3+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Consistent and dependable attendance.
