1st shift Mid Level Welder

Position: Mid-Level Welder
Shifts Available: 1st 6:00am-2:30pm
Pay Rate: $24

We are currently seeking Mid-Level Welders to join our growing team. This role is ideal for experienced professionals who can work efficiently in a shop environment and uphold our high standards of quality and safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Read and interpret shop drawings to determine required welds

• Weld components such as base plates stiffener plates cap plates and rebar

• Perform welds on larger frames including complete joint penetration (CJP) welds at a moderate to fast pace

• Use overhead cranes to position materials and frames for welding

• Replace wire in welding machines as needed

• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred but not required)

• Minimum of 3 years of experience welding in a shop environment

• Certified in FCAW (flux-cored arc welding) at minimum

• Certified to operate overhead and jib cranes

• Able to operate a grinder proficiently

• Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand or move around for extended periods
