Job Type: Contract / Temporary
Schedule: Full Time 40 hours per week
Shift: 8 hours per day Monday to Friday
Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite
Duration: 3 months

Pay rate: 32.70 – 40.87

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail oriented Project Analyst to support a centralized engineering compliance team responsible for reviewing software and firmware for open source software (OSS) usage and licensing requirements. This role will assist in scanning internally developed and third party software packages to identify licensing information and support compliance efforts across multiple business units.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong analytical skills research abilities project coordination experience or transferable backgrounds in operations compliance quality assurance customer service data review or administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review software scan results to validate package identification licensing accuracy and completeness

  • Analyze third party software licenses to identify obligations usage conditions and compliance requirements

  • Prepare scan reports and investigate open items by collaborating with Engineering Program Management Product teams and Legal stakeholders

  • Coordinate multiple concurrent scan requests and deliverables while tracking progress and timelines

  • Maintain documentation and support process improvements for compliance workflows and scanning tools

  • Follow detailed procedures and adapt quickly to updates in processes and requirements

  • Communicate findings clearly and provide guidance to internal stakeholders regarding compliance related matters

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience

  • Associate’s degree preferred

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 2+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Backgrounds / Transferable Experience

Candidates with experience in the following areas are encouraged to apply:

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with open source software concepts or software development environments

  • Understanding of software licensing or compliance concepts

  • Experience with software scanning or analysis tools is a plus

  • Strong analytical organizational and research skills

  • Ability to manage high volume work accurately and efficiently

  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt to changing procedures

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Open Source Software (OSS)

  • Software Composition Analysis (SCA)

  • Software Scanning / Scan Analysis

  • License Compliance

  • Software Bill of Materials (SBOM)

  • Third Party Package Analysis

  • Documentation and process adherence

  • Data validation and quality review

  • Cross functional collaboration

Direct corporate or software compliance experience is not required if candidates can demonstrate strong attention to detail process adherence analytical thinking and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
