Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: San Diego CA 92121 – Onsite
Schedule: 6:30am – 2:30pm or 7:30am – 3:30pm

Duration: Approximately 5 months
Pay: $24 per hour

Position Summary:

Manpower is assisting a client who is seeking dedicated Customer Service Representative to join the esteemed team.




The role of a involves effectively communicating our billing procedures with patients. Some of the responsibilities can include:

  • Discussing various financial options related to testing including -pay discount alternatives and financial assistance.

  • Responsible for day-to-day requests from various departments including Lab Sales Billing and Client Services.

  • Operate within a call-center environment and without direct face-to-face patient interaction. You will play a crucial role in addressing patient billing concerns and efficiently directing inquiries before and after the completion of testing.


  • Team oriented individual with a focus on collaboration with various departments.

  • Cultivate trust with patients and medical practices through resources and education we offer.

  • Open-minded and very receptive to constant change.

  • Holds themselves and others accountable.

  • Can complete cases with high level of urgency and accuracy: including but not limited to insurance benefit interpretation data entry and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Receptive to feedback and peer coaching.

  • Successfully finishes assigned corporate/ department training sessions promptly and demonstrates the capacity to recall information effectively.

  • Capable of conveying and receiving information in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Can utilize empathy when speaking with patients other departments and offices.

  • Able to capture detailed and comprehensive notes and call summaries ensuring that any agent can seamlessly take over and assist the patient.
