Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to keep production and facility equipment operating safely and efficiently. This role performs troubleshooting repairs and preventative maintenance on CNC hydraulic pneumatic and electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance repairs and troubleshooting on production and facility equipment.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Troubleshoot and maintain vertical and horizontal CNC equipment.

• Read and interpret equipment manuals work orders and mechanical/electrical schematics.

• Use hand and power tools electrical meters and material-handling equipment.

• Work with vendors and suppliers for troubleshooting support and replacement parts.

• Communicate equipment issues findings and repair status to management.

• Prioritize maintenance activities to minimize production downtime.

• Maintain organized parts and tool storage areas.

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean orderly work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Experience with CNC equipment hydraulics pneumatics and electrical systems preferred.

• Ability to read manuals mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Mechanical mindset with the ability to understand how machines operate.

• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Work Environment

The San Diego facility manufactures components used in aerospace and defense applications including printed circuit board retainers and conduction-cooled assemblies. Equipment includes CNC machines saws and hydraulic punch presses.
