Machine Operator I – 3rd Shift
Location: San Diego CA 92121
Schedule: Monday–Friday 3rd Shift
Pay: $23-$23.75
Duration: Temp to Perm
In this position you will:

Operate machinery according to Standard Work and safety procedures.

Inspect products using precision measuring tools such as calipers depth gages thread gages and pin gages.

Ensure products meet drawing specifications and AQL quality standards.

Participate in Lean manufacturing activities including 5S SQDCC Hour-by-Hour Charts and Lean Engagement.

Identify and report equipment material or quality issues to the Team Leader/Supervisor.

Perform basic operator maintenance and equipment checks.

Sort and dispose of scrap and recyclable materials according to procedures.

Frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs. and perform standing walking bending crouching kneeling reaching and climbing.

Perform other duties as assigned.
You have:
-
Ability to read write and follow written instructions.

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
-
Up to 6 months of manufacturing experience.
-
CNC machine operator experience is a plus.

Ability to use basic precision measuring tools such as calipers and gages.

Ability to work safely and follow quality procedures.
-
Willingness to learn and work in a Lean manufacturing environment.
Important ITAR Requirement:
The San Diego facility is ITAR-controlled. Candidates must qualify as a “U.S. Person” under 22 C.F.R. § 120.15.
