Job Title: Inventory Control Coordinator
Location: San Diego ( 92130)
Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Monday – Friday
Duration: Temp
Pay: $26.72/hr
SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Manufacturing Logistics Planning and other departments by managing raw material and in-process inventory flow. This includes inbound and outbound stock movements cycle counting discrepancy resolution and improving warehouse accuracy. The position also supports lab-based activities including aliquoting and pipetting of liquid inventory—biotech/laboratory experience is required.
Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in inventory management shipping/receiving or manufacturing
Aliquoting and cycle counting of liquid inventory – REQUIRED
Biotech work experience – REQUIRED
Lab and pipetting experience – REQUIRED
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license with a clean record
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint
Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems preferred
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work cross-functionally
Understanding of logistics planning and manufacturing concepts
Self-directed with solid communication skills
Comfortable working in a mixed lab and warehouse environment
Responsibilities:
Maintain and track bulk inventory levels (electronic and paper-based systems)
Conduct routine cycle counts and resolve material discrepancies
Deliver inventory to manufacturing and internal departments
Support the implementation and improvement of inventory procedures
Input daily inventory metrics for reporting and compliance
Ensure compliance with EH&S safety policies and procedures
Recommend and support process improvement initiatives
Maintain a clean organized and safe workspace
