Job Title: Electronic Assembler-Soldering

Pay: $21-$26 DOE Shift: First

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders production documentation sample assemblies and/or verbal instructions.

• Perform a variety of assembly tasks including labeling wire cutting stuffing crimping bag and tag soldering potting IDC SCSI heat shrink PC board soldering backshelling harnessing harness board construction box builds kitting wire list creation special projects continuity testing and pin extraction.

• Assist with the Quality Management System (QMS) and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Microscope duties.

• Must be proficient in all assigned tasks under indirect supervision.

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of IPC 610/620 and J-STD-001 standards (certification preferred).

• Excellent hand-eye coordination; able to work with microscopes and precision tools.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Ability to distinguish colors for color-coded wiring.

• Skilled in using hand tools such as long-nose pliers side cutters and soldering irons.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.

• Basic math skills to compute measurements precisely.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• 3–4 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly preferred.

• Basic computer skills required.

Physical Demands

• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Requires good manual dexterity and close vision.

• Prolonged sitting at the workstation may be necessary.
