Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Duration: 3 to 6 months with potential for temp to hire

We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join a dynamic Human Resources team supporting a fast paced transit organization. This role is responsible for full cycle recruiting and talent acquisition for both direct hire and contracted employees across operations maintenance and administrative functions.

In this role you will partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to identify staffing needs develop sourcing strategies screen and interview candidates coordinate hiring processes and support onboarding efforts. The Recruiter will play a key role in attracting high quality talent while supporting organizational goals and fostering an inclusive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage full cycle recruiting from sourcing through offer stage
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities
• Develop and execute recruiting strategies across job boards LinkedIn social media career fairs and community outreach
• Source screen and interview candidates for a variety of roles
• Coordinate interviews candidate communication and hiring processes
• Administer pre employment screenings including background checks and required testing
• Track recruiting metrics and maintain accurate records in HR systems
• Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of full cycle recruiting experience OR Associate’s degree with 5 years of relevant recruiting experience
• Experience in high volume recruiting environments preferred
• Experience recruiting for operations maintenance transportation manufacturing or union environments is highly desired
• Strong sourcing relationship building and communication skills
• HR certification such as PHR or SHRM CP is a plus
• Spanish bilingual skills are beneficial

Additional Requirements:
• Valid California Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record
• Ability to obtain and maintain annual access to Camp Pendleton
• Flexibility to support occasional evenings weekends or recruiting events as needed
