The Prototype Assembler should possess the ability to perform the following:

Under limited supervision performs a wide range of skilled non-repetitive electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations in support of developmental projects. Works from Engineering Drawings and work instructions to perform assembly tasks including inspection. Fits aligns and adjusts parts and mechanism to meet tolerances and product operating requirements. Requires ability to read and interpret Engineering drawing.

Works from Engineering Drawings or work instructions

Follows method and sequences of assembly operations per work orders and drawings

Uses tooling to perform assembly of work orders

Interfaces with supervisor to modify or adjust designs to meet performance requirements

Maintains all safety regulations for safe operation of equipment

Uses appropriate personal safety equipment at all times

Uses appropriate precautions when using and disposal of hazardous materials

Other duties and special projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirement:

High school education or equivalent
-
Four years related experience
