Job Title: Customer Service Representative – Bilingual English/Spanish In Person/Onsite

Location: El Cajon CA

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm

Duration: Direct Hire

Pay: $18 – $23 per hour depending on experience

The onsite Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing in person customer support and excellent service to providers and members.

 

This role will contribute directly to improving the wellbeing of the community by being a part of the team that connects individuals and families with essential resources and services.

Provides product and service information and identifies opportunities to better our member and provider experiences. Resolves issues and addresses needs effectively while demonstrating the companies’ values. Responsible for continuous quality improvements regarding member/provider engagement and retention. 

 

Job Duties

  • Assist Members and Providers in person and over the phone with a focus on process improvement and retention.

  • Provide face to face service support to members and/or providers.

  • Assist in the efforts towards offering enrollment assistance in addition to an array of local services and support.

  • Provide in person service and service over the phone email chat and in person supporting the Medicaid Medicare and/or Marketplace business.

  • Accurately document all calls and interactions across multiple platforms. 

  • Consistent delivery of excellent customer service.

  • Ability to work the scheduled shifts within our hours of operation. Lunches and breaks are scheduled and work over-time and/or weekends as needed.

  • Familiarity with products such as Medicaid and Marketplace.

  • Familiar with the enrollment process.

  • Familiar with Authorizations Appeals Claims Contracting and Credentialing.

  • Able to proactively engage and collaborate with various departments both Internal/ External.

  • Provide resolutions in real time or through efficient follow up.

  • Demonstrate ability to quickly build rapport and respond to the members/providers in an empathetic manner by identifying and exceeding customer expectations.

  • Supports member and provider with an array of inquiries and assistance involving their benefits premiums claims and more. Does the initial research and works to resolve issues immediately. 

  • Ability to multitask.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel Word PowerPoint).

 

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual English Spanish (Fluent)

  • 1 to 3 years of customer service or sales experience in a high volume fast paced setting.

  • Associate’s degree or the equivalent combination of experience and education.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3-5 years of customer service or sales experience in a high volume fast paced setting.

  • Proficient in: Salesforce Microsoft Office CVS Caremark
