Responsibilities

Operate machines and equipment with guidance from senior operators.

Read blueprints work orders and engineering drawings to determine instructions and part specifications.

Monitor inventory levels of chemicals materials and supplies used in processes.

Assemble parts or raw materials according to blueprints ensuring quality and quantity objectives.

Use soldering equipment and align parts in specified relationships as needed.

Verify part accuracy using various measuring equipment and gauges.

Complete necessary paperwork during production.

Understand daily production goals and targets.
-
Perform quality checks on parts and adjust processes for optimal results.

Rotate through all departmental jobs within this classification as required.

Attend training sessions as needed.

Maintain adherence to quality and safety standards.

Complete special projects as assigned.
Requirements

Strong attention to detail.
-
Good or corrected eyesight to ensure quality work.

Ability to use both hands for repetitive wrist hand and finger motions.

Comfortable working with glues solvents and chemicals.
-
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
-
Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Ability to read and comprehend work instructions engineering drawings and company policies.

Basic math skills (addition and subtraction of 2-3 digit numbers).

Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements.
